Whether you’re looking for the top grades, or simply to supplement learning, chances are you would benefit from expert tutoring.

At Key2 we believe learning works best when it’s relatable, inspiring, and designed around real experiences. As a recent A-Level and GCSE student, I’m able to connect with students on a level that traditional tutoring often can’t reach.

That means we understand today’s exams, study pressures, and learning styles first hand.

Empowering the Next Generation of Learners and Tutors

Whether your child needs GCSE tutoring, A-Level support, or homework help, we create lessons that build confidence as well as competence. We know that every learner is different, so our sessions are flexible, engaging, and focused on individual growth. From mastering tricky topics in Maths and Science, to boosting writing skills in English, or explosing global issues in Geography and Economics, every session is tailored to help students reach their full potential. The Education Endowment Foundation, a charity, estimates that a year of one-to-one tuition is equivalent to five additional months of schooling.

We’re passionate about making quality tutoring affordable and accessible. Families have praised us for our quality sessions and techniques, which all ensure students leave our sessions feeling successful.

Tutoring FAQs

Everything you need to know about tutoring for GCSE and A-Level students. Can’t find an answer? Get in touch →

What subjects do you tutor?

I provide tutoring for a wide range of GCSE and A-Level subjects, with a focus on Geography, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Maths, and English. Lessons are tailored to each student’s level and learning style to help them improve understanding, build confidence, and achieve better grades.

How long is each tutoring session?

Standard tutoring sessions last 60 minutes, but I can also arrange shorter or longer lessons to suit your schedule. Flexible session lengths ensure that GCSE and A-Level students get the right amount of time for effective learning and exam preparation.

Are lessons online or in-person?

Most tutoring sessions are conducted online via Google Meet or Zoom, providing flexible access for GCSE and A-Level students. However, I can also offer in-person lessons where possible and adapt to your individual requirements.

How do you track student progress?

I provide regular feedback during and after each tutoring session, so parents can clearly see how their child is progressing. Students are given tasks to complete between lessons to consolidate understanding and identify gaps. I review these tasks before the next session and use the GCSE or A-Level specification, along with discussions with the student, to focus on areas that need improvement. This structured approach ensures students build confidence, improve their grades, and stay on track for exam success.

What ages or levels do you teach?

I specialise in tutoring GCSE and A-Level students (Years 9–13), providing lessons tailored to their individual needs. I have also supported both younger and older students through tutoring and mentoring, helping learners of all levels improve understanding, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals.

How do I reschedule or cancel a lesson?

I offer flexible scheduling to accommodate GCSE and A-Level students’ needs. If you need to reschedule a lesson, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance so we can find a convenient alternative.

What payment methods do you accept?

Payments can be made by bank transfer or cash. I offer the flexibility of paying per session or booking a package of lessons in advance, which many GCSE and A-Level families find convenient.

What if my child has difficulty focusing or has ADHD?

I keep tutoring sessions engaging with regular quizzes, interactive activities, and dynamic content to check understanding and maintain focus. Lessons are highly adaptable to each student’s learning style, ensuring they stay engaged and build confidence. The one-to-one format also helps students concentrate more effectively, making it ideal for learners with ADHD or attention difficulties.
